Banana Key Lime Pie

Have you ever had a cooking epiphany? It seems like you make this one thing the same way every time, and you can’t possibly imagine it any different? It happens ALL THE TIME for me. (Ahem, Spaghetti Sauce.) That’s how it was with Banana Key Lime Pie.

This Banana Key Lime Pie recipe is a rich, creamy, tasty twist on a classic Florida favorite!

I was browsing through my Mom’s recipe box when I saw this Banana Key Lime Pie recipe. I did a double take with that one. I’ve had key lime pie … I do live in Florida, after all. I’ve also had banana pudding, but the thought of having them together is just weird.

Or so I thought.

Adding bananas to key lime pie is genius. I mean, really. It adds an extra layer of creamy goodness that just doesn’t make sense, but it is SO good.

Check it out and let me know what you think! This Banana Key Lime Pie is sure to bring summer to your table, any time of year.
